Kevin J. Lamb

Biography

Though decades of hands on experience, Kevin Lamb has developed an expertise across a broad spectrum of law, including business, finance, partnerships, real estate and bankruptcy. He has also been an owner in numerous business ventures, which together, affords him a big picture perspective for helping his clients and their businesses flourish. As a business attorney he uses his strategic skills and creative problem-solving talents to provide practical advice and support to business owners and to corporate counsel with respect to formation, operational, acquisition and disposition issues. As a finance attorney, he utilizes his business perspective and bankruptcy background in representing national banks and financial institutions in the structuring, negotiating and documenting of commercial loans, as well as in the restructuring of problem loans. As a partnership attorney he structures operating entities and agreements, with a mind toward clearly defining work and compensation expectations, building mechanisms for dispute resolution and the buyout of disgruntled partners and/or sale of the company. As part of that partnership practice, he has successfully negotiated the resolution of hundreds of partnership disputes and has facilitated buyouts often by taking advantage of the firms’ tax expertise to structure creative tax driven solutions. As a real estate attorney he brings hands on experience to his representation of lenders, developers, investors, hotel owners and real estate companies in all aspects of real estate law.
